Daring Way™

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology designed for work with individuals. It can be facilitated in clinical and public settings. During the process facilitators explore topics
such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

We all struggle with thoughts of "not enough" in some area of our life, it is part of what makes us human. However, it is precisely those thoughts that hold us back from being brave in our lives,  taking risks, trying something new or having difficult conversations. How can we show up in life as the person, parent or leader we truly want to be if we are living from a place of "not enough" and wondering "what will people think?"

The Daring Way™ is designed to help individuals develop shame resilience skills and daily practices around empathy and self-compassion that transform the way they live, love, parent, and lead.

“ I believe that if Brené was witnessing the day herself, she would have smiled and been proud of the way you represented her work. I would have been happier to have had another hour, this is such an important topic and I was energised at the end, not at all tired.  That is a testimony to how you run the workshop.” - Colin, Dexterity Solutions

Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity.

Rising Strong™

Rising Strong is a program designed to teach what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending.

We have all experienced failure, struggle or set-backs in our lives. We know it’s possible to pick ourselves up from a fall but how? We could simply soldier on without reflecting on the fall, however we won’t experience growth or healing this way.  The Rising Strong™ process has been uncovered from the stories of those who have found a way to learn from failures and move forward wiser and stronger.  There is a method to dusting ourselves off and it centers on uncovering the stories we make up about that fall and our ability to own that story. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.

“The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall.” - Brené Brown

“Sanela actively embodied and modelled the core principles of the workshop content, vulnerability. She was also incredible at creating a safe and open space to allow participants to explore the key concepts of the workshop. This is indeed challenging for any facilitator and she did this with immense grace and empathy. Some of the concepts explored in the workshop may be difficult for some to grasp within such a short space of time, but Sanela had a remarkable way of providing clarity by simplifying things through her storytelling and brilliant use of use cases.” - SB
